Holistic Nutritional Therapy is a branch of Integrated Functional Medicine, a field of science-based health care that is patient-centered. It takes a systematic and comprehensive approach to understanding the underlying physiological and psychological factors that affect health.
A Holistic Therapist looks at each person with a holistic view. Specifically, it is the belief that we are all the sum total of our physical and psychological dimensions, and that our individual health is determined as well by the interaction between our internal and external conditions. When the inside and/or outside environment becomes a negative power in a person’s life, he/she loses balance. The main role of the Holistic Therapist is to help each person find the right balance again. This is done through consultation, analysis, guidance and treatment. The Holistic Therapist guides the person so that they can understand the body’s ‘own inner intelligence’, and the role and power of the mind and natural immune system.
Lifestyle Coaching
Lifestyle Coaching is one of the fundamental therapies used in Holistic Therapy(HT). This therapy uses awareness, knowledge and guidelines to help the individual identify his/her patterns and behaviour, and adjust, change or modify that behaviour based on what impact it has on the body, emotions and sense of well-being and success. It teaches alternative but equally satisfying ways to enjoy life, and it encourages problem solving and stress management.
